Facebook App Center has been launched worldwide, 2 months since it was first announced.
Facebook App Center, as its name implies, is a centralized social app showroom for both Facebook (Web) apps and mobile apps for Android and iOS (iPhone/iPad). In addition to traditional approaches to surfacing apps to users such as “Top grossing” and “Trending”, App Center’s main value proposition would be its ability to help users discover apps through personalized recommendations, as well as apps that their friends are using.
For mobile apps, if they require downloads, the users would automatically be redirected to Apple App Store or Google Play. Users browsing from their PCs could also send the app to their mobile devices.
